Advent Calendars are a great way for kids to countdown to Christmas! They sure have expanded since I was a kid when a chocolate one was pretty much the only option. Now, there are advent calendars for every interest.
We’ve tracked down some of the best ones below, candy and candy-free options too!

We love doing advent calendars at our house. We’ve done both candy and candy free versions with little gifts. It’s so fun to open them up together each day leading up to Christmas.
The candy pieces inside are usually small if you want to go that route. But, I totally understand if you don’t want to give your kids candy every day so the non-candy ones are a great choice too if a bit pricier.
If you want something truly unique you'll want to look at these custom-made advent calendars on Etsy. They are beautiful and there are several styles. Just know that it will take a little bit longer for them to get to you.
These can be used year after year and filled with candy or gifts of your choice.
I love this Melissa and Doug option as it's not candy and it's reusable! Kids can decorate the tree with magnetic ornaments, then after Christmas you can pack it away for next year. Make it a part of your holiday traditions.
